PHILLIP Andrew Hall, 41, of Whitelye, Catbrook, has been committed for trial at the crown court, charged with murder.
Mr Hall, who has not been well enough to attend court for previous hearings was before Newport Magistrates on Friday charged with murdering his 12-year-old daughter, Emma on July 18th.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the crown court and there was no bail application by his solicitor, Andrew Twomlow.
