Damian Cole's tremendous season continued last Sunday (1st August) with victory on the Harry Flatters Rally, held on the Epynt Military Ranges near Brecon.
The race went right down to the wire after 85 competitive miles, with Cole and co-driver Craig Drew bringing the Get-Connected.Com Ford Focus WRC home just three ahead of Peter Lloyd and Graham Handley in the Subaru S14 WRC.
The two Epynt maestros were joined by another former Epynt winner, Eian Pritchard, now armed with the ex-Patrick Elliot Subaru S11 WRC, but such was the pace of Cole and Lloyd, Pritchard was a very distant third, some three minutes behind the victor.
