Two female climbers had a lucky escape after falling down the complete height of the cliff at Symonds Yat Rock on Saturday.
The climbers, from the West Midlands, were saved from more serious injury when their 40 foot fall was broken by friends who were waiting below.
Two crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue spent two hours lifting the climbers up from the cliff pass.
