Eric Davis and Russell Joseph in the Dennis Motorsport/ Armley Enterprises Mini GT followed up last year's success on Rally Sunseeker Historic Rally with another excellent class win, also finishing sixth overall.

The Sunseeker Historic was the opening round of the HRCR and Mini Challenge and offered eight special stages and just over 40 competitive miles in the Dorset forests.

Rain had left the stages extremely slippery and Davis had some tyre problems on the opening test with the car snapping sideways.

An off on stage four cost about 15 seconds but from then on they set about chasing 2010 Mini Champion Clive King.

A misfire caused by water on stage eight cost more time so they settled for second mini but were well pleased with sixth overall and first in class.
