Skydiving has never been so popular, as local woman Claire Beaven will agree.

She travelled to Nottingham at the end of September to participate in the first of her fund raising challenges to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund

She was lucky enough to be able to do the tandem skydive with the Red Devils at Langar Airfield, with 27 other fund raisers.

She said she wished to thank those who generously sponsored her and has already collected over £7,500 before Giftaid and is looking forward to her next challenge: wing walking.
