I witnessed an example of someone's Christmas Spirit in a bank in Monnow Street on Wednesday. An elderly lady was being consoled by the management after having her purse stolen in a nearby shop. I later found that she was ninety years of age.

If there really is a heaven and hell one might hope that the hell bit is the medieval one with flames and pitchforks - especially for the sort of person who could do such a thing.
