The children in the Nursery, Reception and Year 1 at Ashfield Park School have been enjoying finding out all about Chinese New Year. Pictured are the Nursery children tasting some Chinese food using chopsticks and parents joining in with activities. Children enjoyed role play in the Chinese house, making red and gold decorations, designing their own willow pattern plates, making different sized noodles and many other exciting activities. At the end of the topic parents and carers were invited in to Nursery to join in with the fun. The children were very pleased to share their learning with their parents. Children are able to attend the Nursery the September that follows their third birthday.
