THE Curre and Llangibby Hunt enjoyed its traditional New Year's Day meet opposite the Coach and Horses pub, Chepstow, last Thursday.

Mounted followers met with supporters on foot to welcome in the New Year and continue a historic partnership with the town.

Injured Huntsman Peter Swann gave the speech and waved the hounds off with acting Huntsman Josh Warren temporarily at the helm.

The hounds and supporters of the newly-formed Woolaston Bassets met on Boxing Day in Raglan.

The Hunt joined Mr and Mrs Sharon and David Thompson behind Raglan Castle for its first Boxing Day meet, joined by many foot supporters.

The hounds then met again in Llantrissant on New Year's Day.
