EIGHT-year-old Charlotte from Monmouth has donated more than £330 and 16 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust.

The charity provides real hair wigs for children suffering with hair loss.

Charlotte, who goes to Llangrove School, had her long hair cut at Oasis hair salon in Monmouth last week.

After eight years of only hair trims, Charlotte had decided earlier in the year to donate her hair.

She has so far successfully raised more than £330 but the figure is expected to grow.
