So how do you put a fifteenth century ship back together again?

That is the exciting challenge facing the Newport Ship Project as they reassemble the remains discovered in the mud of the Usk when the Riverfront arts centre was being built in 2002.

Next week experts will be giving Monmouth Field and History Society a guided tour of the painstaking and complicated task they are undertaking at a large workshop in Newport.

This follows a talk given to the society during its last winter season.

The tour on Thursday April 21 is open to non-members and begins at 6.30pm.

The workshop is at Unit 20, Estuary Road, Queensway Meadows Industrial Estate NP19 4SP.

If you would like a lift, please ring 01600 715076 by lunchtime on Thursday.
