A Monmouth family are furious that their elderly mother has been left in hospital for almost two months after a County Council's Social Services said they had run out of money!
Muriel Eggerton, aged 79, is in Llandrindodd hospital, and during that time has suffered a fall, which left her with a broken her arm.
Muriel's daughter Jackie, who lives in Monmouth, told us "Mum has vascular dementia which means that she requires 24 hour EMI nursing care. We were lucky to secure a place for her at the brand new Gibraltar Care Village in Monmouth.
