Thank you Salt and Pepper in Monmouth for displaying gorgeous pink petunias over your Monnow Street shop. Congratulations also to Cornwall House next to the Beacon offices for a wonderful show of hollyhocks. Down in Blestium Street the Monmouth Community Champions’ cascades of colour have partially covered the ugly toilet block.

Is it too much to hope that year by year more businesses in our town will bring Monmouth into bloom again?
