Monmouth’s Carnival gets better and better each year as colourful entries joined in the procession down Monnow Street to gather on Chippenham.

Winners were announced and everyone got a medal. Saffron Jenkins-Jones won the the individual category with Fantastic Mr Fox, with Dylan and Seren coming in second place as Wurzel Gummage and Aunt Sally.

1st Wyesham Brownies and Rainbows came second with large groups (five or more) and first was Hereford’s College for the Blind with Old Macdonald’s Farmyard Rave

Winners of the wheeled vehicles was the Great Barn farm entry from the Layne Family and second was Lexi Scarecrow!

Credit to the Carnival Committee for pulling off another fantastic day with chair Emma Warmington-Gardner the driving force behind the day.
