How much noise is the town of Monmouth expected to tolerate from a private event on the Vauxhall Fields?

Surely, granting permission for this type of four day function was misplaced when considering a venue that is in the centre of town.

Without curbing the tannoy system the hours of amplified music meant that an intolerable intrusion of constant noise affected many local inhabitants for four successive days; enjoying the bank holiday at home was difficult.

I am complaining from Osbaston so goodness knows what those living nearer the event suffered.
