Whilst carrying out mobile patrols, the Monmouth South Neighbourhood Policing Team sighted a vehicle on Park Road, Caldicot showing as having no insurance.

Once the officer turned around, the driver decided to abandon the vehicle, leaving the engine running and the windows open.

In the same evening, two electric scooters being ridden by two youths were seized after being ridden with no lights and had no insurance.

Riders are required to have insurance to use E-scooters on the road
