A MONMOUTH nursery received recognition at the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) annual conference, held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The glamorous evening, which took place on Friday 22nd June, celebrated the best of the best, acknowledging success and excellence across the nursery sector. The awards were presented by BBC West Midlands journalist Sarah Bishop.

Monmouth’s Little Einstein’s Day Care Ltd was a runner-up in the Technology Award category. The Welsh Nursery of the Year was won by Cardiff’s Meithrinfa Si-Lwli.

Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), said: “Congratulations to all of the Welsh nurseries that are a shining example of the excellent work happening across our sector.

“The judging process across all the awards was tough this year given the excellent candidates but shining testimonials from those closest to the children in these settings helped to decide the overall winners.

“These awards were thoroughly deserved and I am absolutely delighted for all those involved.”
