The Friends of the 65 Bus are pleased to be celebrating their first birthday as it is 12 months since the route between Monmouth and Chepstow was threatened with closure.

Celebrate our success by travelling on the 65 bus and show your support for this important community service.

Monmouthshire County Council have shown their support for the route by investing in a new bus for the route. David Davies MP recently joined us to celebrate the arrival of the new bus.

F65B would also like to acknowledge the continued support of Nick Ramsay AM, local councillors, local businesses and the Village Champions. Special thanks must go to those who signed the petition and all the passengers, for without you the bus would not remain running. Well done!

Finally, a big thank you to Rob and the other drivers who are so important in the running of the bus, as are the management team.

The 65 bus links many communities so please wish us happy birthday and continue to give your support by travelling on the bus. Increased passenger numbers will help secure the bus for the future.
