Andy Burton took his sixth outright Wyedean victory with a storming drive last Saturday (12th February) together with Robin Kellard in the awesome Peugeot-Cosworth.
But it wasn't easy for the Pembridge farmer, as both Paul Bird's 08 Focus WRC, who took second place 19 seconds down, and Hugh Hunter in the 01 Focus WRC who finished third a further 11 back, pushed Burton hard all the way.
Hunter went off in Mailscot losing 25 seconds, after 45 miles of flat out motoring in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.
Top local and the Group N honours went to Nik Elsmore and Paul Spooner in the Evo 9 in sixth, over a minute down behind the victor.
Julian Wilks took the 1400 honours with an impressive 32nd overall.
Local boy Nick Elliot emerged the Historic victor in 23rd place in the RS1800 with Dave Price on the notes.
179 crews started the GMF Motor Factors-sponsored event with 134 finishers, quality right throughout the event and thousands of spectators lining the route in glorious sunshine to watch the action.
