I read with interest how Monmouthshire County Council had been keeping a close eye on the celebratory bunting in Church Street.
Here in the remote area of Parkhouse we don't have those problems.
Pinks, purples, whites and blacks – all the colours have been on display for most of the last couple of weeks as residents try to understand which day to put the bin bags out.
Another success story from our local council.
