THE annual Hoggin’ the Bridge will return to Chepstow this Sunday (18th October).

Last year the event exceeded expectations with more than 2,000 people flocking to the bridge.

This year’s ride will start at the Brightside Group car park at 11am. The car park is situated behind Severn View Services, Aust, near Bristol.

Riders will begin ‘hoggin’ the Severn Bridge then follow their route through towns and villages finishing at Chepstow Racecourse.

Tickets for the event are available from BigBoar Motorcycles, Chepstow, Castle Framing, Chepstow Newsagents and Newport Tool Hire.

The event is open to all bikers, who are asked to make a donation for the day.

This year’s race will raise funds for Meningitis Now, South Wales Air Ambulance, National Association for Bikers with a Disability, Freewheelers Blood Bikes, St David’s and St Anne’s Hospice, St Johns Ambulance, Chepstow Street Pastors, SGH Trust, Kyoshin Shotokan Karate Club, Hobbit’s Hole Group and RP Fighting Blindness.

Last year the event raised £15,000 for charity.
