If you live in Monmouth and can play a brass instrument, or would like to have a go, then you should read on.

Monmouth Band celebrated forty years last year, during which time it has played in various venues in and around Monmouth, including the Monmouthshire Show, the Carnival, town and village fetes, the Remembrance Services and much more.

As with all organisations, the Band has, over the years, experienced its ups and downs in numerical strength.

Now, the Band is looking to increase its membership in most sections.

It is a non-contesting band and can supply any new members with the use of an instrument.

The main practice is on Thursday evening in the Overmonnow Learning Centre in Wonastow Road. There are also informal practices on Monday evenings.
