SIR, The Royal British Legion are again promoting a national two minutes silence to take place on Tuesday  11th November at 11a.m. Please observe this wherever you may be. This being to remember those men and women who lost their lives in the two world wars and conflicts since. In Monmouth, the County Council will arrange to fire maroon rockets in Castle Square to mark the occasion. You are invited to attend at 10.40am.
