A PENALLT couple are working in tandem as they cycle from Land's End to John o' Groats.
Anna Woodman and Andy Speed set off from the Cornish coast last Friday, 21st August, on a tandem bicycle and are hoping to complete the 1,000 miles in two weeks.
Anna and Andy, who are cycling unsupported and are funding their own food and equipment, took on the challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
"The challenge started out as a joke as Andy is a keen cyclist, while I have a reputation for being rather wobbly on wheels, and so it began as a dare for Andy to get on a tandem with me," said Anna.
"Cancer Research was chosen as Andy's mum has had breast cancer and I am currently a medical student with an interest in cancer," she added.
