Two Monmouth women are heading to Kenya at the end of June to work with street kids and orphans.Amanda Edwards, co-ordinator of the Attik young people's centre, and NVQ student Kelly Christopher will be working with the Moving Mountains Trust, a charity working with young people in Kenya and other places.Amanda and Kelly will be visiting orphanages, hospitals and schools in Solio, interacting with youngsters and teaching basic skills such as hand washing and personal hygeine.They will also help with the charity's ongoing projects including the building of a school and an orphanage."Street life for these unfortunate kids is dirty, violent and short," said Amanda.
