How uplifting it is to travel up and down the dual carriageway from Ganarew Bridge and see the wonderful showing of daffodils.

How depressing it is to realise that all too soon they will have died back to expose once again all the litter and other detritus.

I'd like to volunteer to do something practical like picking it up. I have a reflective vest, a hard hat, working gloves, black bags and enthusiasm, but would 'Elf n' Safety' allow this?

Fat chance. I've had no training in bending down and picking stuff up. What a pity.
