A Wye Valley woman has competed in the semi-finals of a nationwide search for Britain's first female horse racing commentator.
Aly Rowell, a broadcast journalist from Penallt, featured in The Filly Factor last Saturday (11th June) – her wedding day – but missed out on a place in the final.
Aly commentated on the first race at Bath Racecourse at 2.15pm before jumping into a helicopter to get her back to the church in Monmouthshire for the start of the wedding at 3pm.
