It is getting time for gardeners to start preparing gardens for planting. I should like to ask how can anyone with an allotment dig and plant when we are unable to get to them? The approach road is worse than ever so that even with a 4x4 it is nearly impossible to get to them.
They are also being used as a dumping ground for all sorts of rubbish. Now that dogs are banned from Chippenham the dog walk is the only place to go but how can anyone walk there if they have to wade through deep mud and avoid deep potholes?
I enjoy gardening but I and other allotment holders do not want to have to risk life and limb every time we go there. We have been asking for improvements for a long time. I think it is about time something was done.
