MADAM,

A word of warning to pedestrians and cyclists.

The wooden surface on the bridge from Osbaston into Vauxhall Camp has become extremely slippery after recent rainfall.

I was cycling over it on Sunday when my bike skidded sideways and I had a heavy fall. I was badly bruised and shaken but it could have been worse.

I am not sure who has responsibility for the bridge but I would like to suggest, with respect, that this issue is addressed before a more serious accident occurs.
