Usk Panto Players have racked up another success with this year's production of 'Princess' written by local author Julie McGowan.

Now in its 15th year, the panto group was formed to raise funds for what was then an almost derelict Memorial Hall in Usk. Year on year success and lottery funding has transformed the hall, but further work is now needed to repair the roof and replace the kitchen.

The four performances of 'Princess' had packed audiences rocking with laughter, as well as giving plenty of cheers for the goodies and hisses for the baddies, and raised several thousand pounds for the Hall funds.
