mORE than five thousand people stepped back in time last weekend with the Border Counties Vintage Show, held at Vauxhall Fields.
More than 250 exhibitors took part in the event exhibiting their vintage cars, military vehicles, motorbikes and tractors to the public.
There were also famous vehicles on show too including the police car used on television crime drama series 'Ashes to Ashes'.
Once again there was the great exhibits of Victory and Locomotion organs from Belgium, playing both days and on the Saturday evening they played a two hour concert of chart hits show tunes, movie themes and traditional favourites.
Sunday saw the popular dog show and the Welsh tug-of-war take place along with the traditional display of horse drawn log pulling and gun dogs on both days
Show organiser Ian Harper wished to thank all those who turned out to support the event and looked forward to next year's event. "A special thanks to Harold Johns for the loan of the equipment"
