Seriously, did the council pay for a company to replace the sign?

'Yes, the buckled stand is another company so I'll just put the road sign in, even though it's the wrong size'.

Every time someone drives into the 'new' estate they laugh at the council's inept ability to do anything correctly.

I contacted the council four times to get the road sign replaced when it was originally stolen and the stand was buckled, and after three calls and 18 months this is the result; the wrong-sized sign in a buckled stand.

So that's how my £2,700 annual council tax is spent. Genius.
