SIR,
Rev J Williams, in his well-circulated letter in last week's Beacon (the Western Mail published it last week), claims that God intervened at Dunkirk following a national day of prayer.
However, God appears to be a bit selective in his interventions, for surely everyone can think of dozens of cases where he should have stepped in, but didn't – Aberfan, tsunamis, 9/11, Bosnia, Africa, the general election.
