Monmouth postman Paul Northey has just completed his marathon charity walk from John o' Groats to Lands End for the Help for Heroes charity.
Having just walked 961 miles from one end of the country to the other, he has now had his moustache shaved in true Turkish fashion and taken up the nomination for the ice-bucket challenge.
His follow-up challenges could not have been done without the help of Stuart and Holly from the Mayhill and Mehmet from the Golden Scissors in Chepstow who came up to Monmouth without charge, to cut his hair and style his moustache.
Having taken six months off work to complete his walk, he is grateful to his managers Mr Skipp and Mr George for giving him the time to raise money for the charity.
In return, he has now challenged his Post Office managers to do the ice-bucket challenge, or donate to the Help for Heroes fund.
