GWENT Police is appealing for information after reports that man approached children in Rockfield, Monmouth, and invited them back to his home.

At around 5.30pm last night, (14th June) the man is reported to have approached the group of 10 to 13-year-olds in Rockfield Park off Cornwallis Way, offering them cigarettes and allegedly inviting them back to his house.

The man is being described as in his 20s to 30s medium build with black hair.
