A FIRE broke out yesterday morning (20th December) on the ground floor of a two-story Maisonette in Bulwark.

The Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at 7.30am, with crews and fire-engines from Chepstow, Caldicot and Gloucester attending. Three men were removed from the building, one of whom was removed by neighbours prior to the arrival of the Fire Service. One man was treated at the scene with oxygen therapy, before being transported to hospital. Two others were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
