AN APPEAL has been launched after petty cash was stolen from a safe box from a museum in Chepstow.

Gwent Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a museum on Bridge Street in Chepstow.

The offence occurred sometime between 5.45pm on 10th July and 8.50am on 11th July.

The offender/offenders gain entry via a back window by removing metal bars.

Taken from the premises was petty cash from the safe box.
