ANOTHER house in Osbaston has been burgled.

Gwent Police received a report at 7.30pm last night (11th November) stating that a property had been broken into at Lancaster Way.

Just days earlier, a house was also burgled at Trafalgar Close on the Rockfield Road estate.

In the Osabston break-in, a local resident, who witnessed the suspects leaving the property and is thought to have been attempting to take action to slow the perpetrators’ escape, sustained damage to his car when a brick was thrown at his rear window.

The resident in question did not receive any injuries.

Gwent Police officers believe the offenders were travelling in a red car, possibly a Ford Focus. They left the Osbaston area via Osbaston Road, turning left on to Hereford Road.

If anyone has any information about this, they are asked to call 101 quoting log number 482 11/11/15.

The public are asked not to approach these suspects and always call 101 if they see anything suspicious.

This burglary is the latest in a long line of break-ins that have occurred in the area.

Residents are calling for street lights to be left on in the area in the absence of a continuous police presence.

The Trafalgar Close break-in happened sometime between Saturday 7th November and Tuesday 10th November.

An antique gold watch with an 18 carat gold chain were stolen.

If you have any information on this, call 101 quoting log 348 10/11/15.
