AN appeal has been launched after a bicycle was stolen in Monmouth yesterday (4th November).

Gwent Police officers are looking for the help of anyone who went to Costa Coffee in Monmouth yesterday afternoon, or was in the area.

A spokesperson from Gwent Police said: “A Kona Precept bike was stolen from behind the shop between 2pm and 4pm.

“This bike was chained, so maybe someone noticed a person with cutting equipment?

“If anyone has any information, please call 101, quoting log number 424 04/11/15.”
