Monmouthshire is set for a hot, dry and sunny week, with temperatures widely climbing into the high 20s and low 30s, according to Met Office data.
Across the county, places such as Monmouth, Usk, and Llanthony Priory will see persistent sunshine, very low chances of rain, and light winds.
Daytime highs are expected to peak around 29–30°C from Wednesday to Friday, with nights remaining warm at 14–17°C. Pollen levels will be high to very high, and UV levels will reach 7–8 during the mid‑afternoon, making sun protection essential.
The Met Office says the warm spell will continue into the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday staying dry, bright and increasingly hot, part of a wider Welsh heatwave bringing prolonged sunshine and above‑average temperatures.
