KESTREL gymnasts had great success at the South East Regional and Welsh National Gymspire Championships, with those from the Chepstow-based club finishing in the top six, the former going through to the nationals.

Samuel Brown won silver medals on Trampette, Vault, Floor and third Overall medal and Trophy in the SE Regional 6/7 years – Level 1 Boys’ Section.

Rose Sanders won gold on Vault, fifth place Overall Ribbon in the girls’ 6/7 years - Level 2.

Phoenix Saunders won gold on Trampette ,Vault, Floor & Overall at Regional, and at National Finals, took silver on Trampette and Vault, Bronze on Floor, and Overall Silver medal and trophy in 8 years - Level 2.

Ffion Knight took fourth place Ribbon on Trampette, Gold on Vault and fourth place Overall Ribbon in the girls’ Regional section.

Mia Morris won Gold on Trampette and Floor, sixth place Overall Ribbon, and Gold on Vault, Fourth place Overall Ribbon, and at the Finals won Silver on Trampette and Sixth place Ribbon on Floor, and forming part of SE Team at the Finals, won Team Silver.

Emily Smith won Silver on Trampette at Regional, and together with Ffion, Mia and Phoenix won Team Silver.

In Regional 9 years - Level 1, Logan Powell won Bronze on Trampette, Gold on Vault, fourth place Ribbons on Floor and Overall, and at Nationals, fifth place Ribbons on Trampette and Vault, fourth place Ribbon on Floor, fifth place Overall Ribbon.

Nadine Gonzalez won Silver on Trampette, Bronze on Floor At Regional.

Nia Down won Bronze on Trampette, fourth place Ribbon Overall, and at Nationals won Gold on Trampette, Bronze on Vault, and with Nadine and Logan, won Regional Silver.

At Nationals, Logan won Boys’ Team Gold and Nia Girls’ Team Bronze.

Abigail Corbett took sixth place Ribbon on Trampette and fifth place Ribbon on Floor In 9 years - Regional Level 2 .

Rhydian Robson won Gold on Trampette, Vault, Floor & Overall Gold medal and Trophy in the Regional Boys’ 10 years - Level 1, and in Nationals, took fourth place Ribbon on Trampette, Gold on Vault, sixth place Ribbon on Floor, Overall Silver Medal and trophy.

Ava Cleeves took fourth place Ribbon on Vault at Regional.

Ruby Morgan won Silver on Trampette, fifth place Ribbon on Floor in Regional 10 Years - Level 2, and at Nationals won Gold on Vault.

Lillia Morris won Gold on Trampette and Floor, Overall Silver Medal and Trophy.

Amy Heron won Silver on Trampette, and together Lilia, Ruby and Megan Bennett, won Regional Team Gold.

Ruby and Lilia also won Team Silver at Nationals.

Ted Watson took fourth place Ribbon on Trampette, Silver on Vault, Gold on Floor, Fourth place Overall Ribbon in Regional Boys’ 11-12 years - Level 2, and at Nationals, Bronze on Trampette, Gold on Vault, Silver Overall.

Luke Hobson won third place Ribbon on Trampette, Bronze on Vault, Silver on Floor, Overall Silver medal and Trophy, and at Nationals fourth place Ribbon on Trampette.

Niamh Trott son Silver on Trampette, sixth place Ribbon on Vault, fifth place Ribbon on Floor, Overall Bronze medal and Trophy at regional, and at Nationals, Silver on Vault.

Laci Watkins won Bronze on floor and fifth place Ribbon Overall.

Eleanor Hall won Bronze on Vault, Ingrid Zina sixth place Ribbon on Vault, and together with Niamh, Laci Eleanor Luke and Ted, took Regional Team Silver.

Laci and Niamh were part of the Girls’ Team winning Silver at Nationals, and Ted and Luke in the Boys’ Team winning Silver.

Zachary Nikoukar won Gold on Trampette, Vault, Floor, Overall Gold medal and Trophy in the Regional 13+ Level 2, and at Nationals, Bronze on Trampette, Gold on Vault, Gold on Floor, Overall Gold medal and Trophy.

Miley Crabbe won fifth place Ribbon on Trampette, Gold on Vault, Bronze on Floor, Overall Gold medal and Trophy at Regional, and at Nationals Gold on Vault, Overall Bronze medal and Trophy.

Georgia Pike won Silver on Floor, Overall Bronze medal and Trophy at Regional.

Harriet Tyldesley won Silver on Trampette, and together with Miley, Georgia and Zachary, won Team Bronze medal.

Amber Morgan took fifth place Ribbon on Floor.

And Eva Morris, Eva Meyrick, Freya Rudd, Naevia Pritchard, Pheobe Thomas, Isabella Bamford, Sapphire Corbett, Eliza Marsh, Jessie-Rae Symonds, Lily Penkethman, Isabelle Webster, Scarlett Guest, all had a good competition, and the younger gymnasts did very well competing for the first time.
