Switching partners was no problem for past Raglan Parc Seniors' captain Stuart Bradley when he recorded two victories in a week.

In the first match at home against Burghill, Stuart's winning partner was Ray York in the teams overall home victory by five matches to three.

Other winners were captain John Duthie playing with Brian Burrell, Ron Thomas and Gerry Pugh, and Peter Perrett playing with Jim True.

The final point was secured by the partnerships of Derek Watson playing with Gwynne Jones, and John Scannell and Neil Sansom when each pair halved their match.

Later in the week, playing against a strong Forest Hills side away, Stuart was again successful, this time playing with seasoned campaigner Lionel Watkins.

Unfortunately, true to away form, Raglan lost the overall match five games to three with other notable winners being Neil Sansom partnering Don Jones.

Further half points were secured by Mike Williams with Derek Watson and Des Williams playing with Jim True.

The seniors' competitive inter-district tournament was again a close-run affair with Usk running out eventual winners against the five other districts represented.
