MORGAN Bain became under-15 Welsh Champion having been under-13 Champion last year.

Ben Ford, in his first season, came third in the under-13 boys event in the same competition. 

Also competing in the Elite Championships were Monmouth Trampoline Club members Erin Williams and Emily Bevan in the under-13 girls section, coming 7th and 9th respectively. 

Both made technical errors in their routines, but will be in the same age group next year, and therefore the future looks bright for them, having only started trampolining in 2014.

In the novice competition, Lawrence Johnson (pictured far right) won the under-11 boys event.

Tomos Rees came second in the under-13 boys

event and Zoe Lambert came third in the under-15 girls event.

Also competing were Zoe Cripwell, who came fourth in the under-11 novice girls and Halle Unsworth who came fifth in the under-13 novice girls.

This is the most number of competitors that the Monmouth Trampoline Club has had entered for the Welsh Championships and if it had not been for illness and injury, there could have been four more.

A very successful day for the club and a bright future in store.
