TWO Monmouth teams played in the junior tournament held at Chepstow FC's ground on Sunday 10th May.

The under-9s

"Yellows and Blues", coached by David Teague and Rob Shearer, fielded a strong team but came up against some strong opposition too from Chepstow, Garden City, and Raglan.

The coaching is really paying off and some footballing talent is showing through for the teams.

With a slew of tournaments coming up this Summer, the under-nines are looking well-placed and set-up to provide some serious competition in the upcoming matches.
