MONROSS Trailblazers returned to racing this weekend following a summer hiatus, covering three races in Gloucestershire.

Andrew Stephens had a great run at the Upton Bishop Big Dipper, finishing first and setting a new course record in 36 mins 52s.

Laura Lelievre completed a super Monross double, finishing first female.

David Knapper finished in the top ten with a time of 43:44. James Fletcher and Vanessa ball finalised the Monross team. 

Gerry Meredith took on a longer running challenge at the Forest of Dean half marathon, finishing the 13.1 mile off road course in 1 hour and 41 minutes.

Gavin Jones rounded off a great weekend, finishing first in the Forest of Dean 5k in 17 minutes 44 seconds.

The team next train at 6pm on Wednesday 30th September, meeting at John Kyrle high school for another structured work out.
