AT Penallt tennis club, youngsters recently took part in a round robin singles tournament.

The teenagers were divided into two groups according to experience. There were a lot of long rallies and carefully thought out shots and the tournament was played with a good spirit.
The players were Milly Taylor, Emily and Olivia Farrington, Archie and Harry Forbes, Sam and Harry Sully, Jamie Bell-Thomas, Dan Waterstone, Tom Smith and Alexia Guppy.
In the first group Milly finished first and won the trophy and Archie was second.
In the second group Jamie Bell-Thomas finished well ahead, clearly very fit after his 5 peaks challenge.
Dan Waterstone was second just one point ahead of Sam Sully and Alexia with the others all very close behind.
