Of the seven students who attended the grading weekend at the Hellidon Lakes Resort Hotel in Daventry five were successful in achieving their grade.
The students work extremely hard to get to this level and are put under immense pressure on the day to perform at their best while being assessed by the panel of six World Masters.
Ben Morgan was successfully promoted from 1st to 2nd Dan while Myles and Myla Blatch, Ffion Hodder and Peter Taylor were all promoted from 1st kup red belt to 1st Dan black belt.
Instructor Tony Farr became a World Master when he was promoted for 6th to 7th Dan.
