More than 1,500 competitors took part in a national Tae Kwon Do challenge, among them members of the Monmouth and Coleford Tae Kwon Do Club.

Two of them came away with awards in their particular categories.

Frances Park won the bronze cup for sparring while Mike Armstrong won a silver medal for tag teams.

Coach Tony Farr was impressed with their achievements, saying: "I am proud to see them gain recognition for all their hard work."
