THREE Spirit of Monmouth runners took part in the Hereford 10km race on Saturday 29th October.
Problems with signage meant that some entrants ran half a mile extra, but despite this there were some great results for the club.
Alice Taylor won the ladies’ race and placed third overall, finishing in a time of 45 minutes. Eleanor Kite completed the race in 54 minutes and Nicola Parker achieved a time of 1:03 minutes.
Representing Monmouth overseas on Sunday 30th October, Tony Hardy completed his second marathon of 2016 at the Dublin Marathon, finishing the 26.2 miles in 5:25.
