SEVERN Tunnel A enjoyed an 8-0 home victory over Caldicot Castle A – the only Division 1 match played.

Tunnel's scorers were Chris Taylor (2), Daryl Berry (2), James Price, Stephen Lane, Tom Atkins and an own goal completed the scoring.

In Division 2, Sudbrook CC B drew 2-2 at home to Mathern B with most of the goals coming from the opposition's boots.

Castle B boss Gary Vaughan said Mathern dominated the first 45 minutes but claimed the second half belonged to his men.

"It was an even game, " he said. "The score was a fair reflection on the game – three own goals and then Steve Phillips headed our equaliser right at the end."

Portskewett and Sudbrook also drew 2-2, at home to Tintern Abbey B.

This weekend sees more cup action as Undy Athletic take on Tintern Abbey A and Severn Tunnel A face Mathern A in the Centenary Cup semi-finals.

Both matches kick off at 1.30pm with 30 minutes of extra time played if the scores are level after 90 minutes.

Penalties will be taken if scores are still level.
