MONMOUTH Rugby Club have announced their floodlight appeal.

This week, club chairman Lloyd Davies announced that the club have secured over £60,000.00 for eight new floodlight columns on Chippenham Playing Fields.

The club are now hoping to raise a further £10,000.00 to ensure that the pitches are ready for additional use.

“If every member and player contributes a minimum of £20.00, we would immediately achieve our target fundraising of £10,000.00,” Mr Davies said. 

Donations can be made via the club website www.monmouthrfc.com and fundraising forms are also available behind the bar at the clubhouse.
